Our Start

The Rind is cozy Restaurant and Bar with a cheese-centric focus where you can have a unique dining experience with artisanal cheeses elegantly incorporated into comfort-styled foods. Our seasonal and farm to fork menu will delight the senses and keep you exploring new flavors. We also have the best selection of cheese and charcuterie plates to pair with wines and beers. Cheese Enthusiasts will finally have a place in Sacramento to explore cheeses, from buttery to blue, nutty to stinky, with a glass of wine or beer and no pretension.  Some love us as their favorite “date spot,” others as their local hangout spot; some love us as a Cheese Shop, and others as Wine Bar. No matter how you think of us, we are here to make memories with you last a lifetime. 

We opened our doors to the neighborhood May 23, 2013, so we are what we now consider mature cheese heads.
